Fire extinguisher production line

Our next fire extinguisher manufacturing line has started up with the new year. Our new customer ordered a complete line for manufacturing of fire extinguishers starting from 2 kg, to 4 kg, 6 kg and 9 kg with dry powder content. For this purpose we will project and manufacture the following machines - Mechanical Press with decoiler and servo driver and die sets - Double action deep drawing presses and mould die set - Edge cutting trimming and beading machine - Circular welding machine - Dry powder filling machine - Round bending machine - Hydrostatic testing machine - Powder Coating Line

The project and manufacturing of the whole line will take up to 6 months and will be shipped in 3 containers. EMS Metalworking engineers will design the line to be able to switch between the production changes easily. The capacity of the line will be 1800 fire extinguishers/day. This capacity is more than twice the existing capacity of the customer. The starting of the line will begin with the disc cutting and these discs will be deep drawn in the hydraulic press.

The discs are degreased before they are edge trimmed by our EMS ECM-200 edge cutting and trimming machines. The machine can cut edges of 3600 fire extinguishers in a day. It is a semi-automatic machine that operates only with one operator. After the edges are cut and bent inside, they are ready for the body welding. Our body welding machine can weld bodies and necks of the fire extinguisher bodies on the same machine.

After the welding, the fire extinguishers are degreased and dry powder is filled inside the fire extinguisher body. In such a line complete stuff of 10 people will be enough to produce 1800 fire extinguishers/day
